| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma; özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip annelerin COVID-19 pandemisisürecinde karşılaşmış oldukları sorunlarla başa çıkma tutumlarınıdeğerlendirmeyi ve çeşitli sosyodemografik değişkenler ile annelerin başa çıkmatutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanınörneklemini 541 özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip anne oluşturmaktadır. Veritoplama araçları olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Sosyo-DemografikSoru Formu ve Carver ve ark. (1989) tarafından geliştirilen Başa ÇıkmaTutumlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği (COPE) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları,COVID-19 salgının özel gereksinimli çocuğa sahip annelerin yaşam kalitelerinidüşürdüğünü, çoğu annenin çocuklarına COVID-19 salgınını nasıl anlatacağınıbilmediklerini ve annelerin pek çoğunun, COVID-19 salgını sürecinde özelgereksinimli çocukları için evde öğrenme ortamını nasıl sağlayacaklarına dairbilgilerinin olmadığını ortaya koymuştur. Buna ek olarak; annelerin eğitimdüzeyi arttıkça başa çıkma tutum puanlarının arttığı ve yine annelerinyaşlarındaki artışa bağlı olarak başa çıkma tutum puanlarında artış gerçekleştiğigörülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular, özel gereksinimli bireyler veebevenynleri ile ilgili olarak pandemi sürecinde alınabilecek önlemler vegerçekleştirilebilecek etkili sosyal hizmet uygulamaları açısından önemligörülmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to evaluate the attitudes of the mothers of the children with special needs while the mothers coping with the difficulties they had encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic and to examine the relation between the various socio demographic variable and the mothers’ coping attitudes. Sample of the research contained 541 mothers of the children with special needs. Socio Demographic Question Form which was improved by the researcher and assessing scale of Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced (COPE) which was improved by Carver and his friends were used as means of data collection. It was revealed in the results of the investigation that COVID-19 pandemic decreased the quality of the life of the mothers of the children with special needs, most of the mothers didn’t have any knowledge about how to explain COVID-19 pandemic to their children, and how to prepare learning environment for their children’s education at home. Additionally when mothers’ education level got higher, it was seemed that their points of coping attitudes became higher, and when the age of mothers got older the points of the coping attitudes became higher again. The findings of the research are important in terms of precautions, effective social services applications about individuals with special needs and their parents. | |
