dc.description.abstractPosterior reversibl ensefalopati sendromu (PRES) baş ağrısı, nöbet, görme kaybından bilinç bozukluğuna kadar gidebilen geri dönüşümlü kliniko-radyolojik bir sendromdur. Etiyolojide, posterior parietal ve oksipital bölgelerde vazojenik ödeme yol açan arteriyel hipertansiyon, otoimmunite ve metabolik sendromlar gibi çeşitli faktörler rol oynamaktadır. PRES düşünülen hastalarda görüntüleme yöntemlerinden manyetik rezonans ve difüzyon manyetik rezonans anahtar rol oynar. Biz önceden bilinen ailesel adenomatöz polipozis tanı, yakın zamanda geçirilmiş cerrahi sonrası intraabdominal sepsis sebebiyle yo¤un bakımda takip edilen 20 yaşındaki olguda gelişen PRES sendromunu sunmayı amaçladık.
dc.description.abstractPosterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a reversible clinico-radiological disorder that can presents itself with headache, seizures, and visual disturbances up to loss of consciousness. In the etiology, various factors as the arterial hypertension, autoimmunity and metabolic syndromes are the causes, usually associated with vasogenic edema in the posterior parietal and occipital regions. In patients suspected of PRES syndrome, magnetic resonance and diffusion magnetic resonance imaging play the key role. This is a case report of a 20-year-old patient with the history of familial adenomatous polyposis who demonstrated PRES syndrome during the treatment of intraabdominal sepsis due to a recent colorectal surgery.
