Özel gereksinimli çocuğu olan annelerin eş desteği ile aile yaşam kalitesi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Bu araştırmanın amacı, özel gereksinimli çocuğu olan annelerin, eş desteği ile aile yaşam kalitesi düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin sosyo-demografik değişkenler ile birlikte incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda, anneler aracılığıyla ailelerin sosyo- demografik bilgileri ile eş desteği ve aile yaşam kaliteleri arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, araştırma grubunu, evli, eşiyle birlikte yaşayan ve özel gereksinimli çocuğu olan 256 anne oluşturmuştur. Katılımcılara "Beach Center Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği", "Eş Destek Ölçeği" ve "Sosyo-demografik Bilgi Formu" uygulanmıştır. Araştırmamızda, özel gereksinimli çocuğu olan annelerin algıladıkları eş desteğinin, aile yaşam kalitesi ile doğru yönde ve pozitif bir ilişki içerisinde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Aile yaşam kalitesi ve eş desteğini etkileyen sosyo-demografik değişkenlere bakıldığında anne eğitim durumu ve baba eğitim durumunun pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki içerisinde olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu bulgular eşliğinde annenin ve babanın eğitim durumu arttıkça aile yaşam kalitesinin ve algılanan eş desteğinin arttığı sonucuna ulaşılabilmektedir. Bulgulara göre, eş desteği ve aile yaşam kalitesinin birbirinden ayrılmaz önemli değişkenler olduğunun önemi dikkat çekmektedir. Anne ve babaların eğitim durumlarının yükselmesinin aile yaşam kalitesi ve eş desteğine önemli etkisi göz önüne alındığında ebeveynleri ve toplumu sosyal destek ve zorlu durumlarda birbirine yardım etme konusunda eğitmenin önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between spousal support and family life quality levels of mothers with special needs children, together with socio-demographic variables. In line with the purpose of the study, the relationship between socio-demographic information of families, spousal support and family quality of life was investigated through mothers. "Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale", "Spousal Support Scale" and "Socio-demographic Information Form" were applied to the participants. In the study, it was concluded that the perceived spousal support of mothers with children with special needs is in a positive and significant relationship with family quality of life. Considering the socio-demographic variables affecting the family quality of life and spousal support,it was found that the education level of the mother and the education level of the father were in a positive and significant relationship. In the light of these findings, it can be concluded that as the education level of the mother and father increases, the quality of family life and perceived spousal support increase. According to the findings, it is noteworthy that spousal support and family life quality are important variables that are inseparable from each other. Considering the significant impact of the increase in the educational status of the parents on the quality of family life and spousal support, it is thought that it is important to educate parents and society on social support and helping each other in difficult situations.
