| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı otizmli olan ve olmayan bireylerin otobiyografik bellek ile benlik bilincini ve arasındaki bağlantıyı araştırmak ve azalmış ben bilincinde ve otobiyografik bellekte rol oynayan nörobiyolojik yapıların aktivasyonunun değerlendirilmesi ve ben bilinci ve otobiyografik bellekle alakalı yapılardaki aktivasyona etkisini araştırmaktır. Çalışmaya 15-25 yaş arası otizm tanısı almış, konuşabilen 4 otizmli birey ve kontrol grubu olarak da aynı yaş aralığında 8 üniversite öğrencisi katıldı. Olgulara otobiyografik bellek incelemesi için Otobiyografik Bellek Taskı, ben bilinci için ileri düzey zihin kuramı testi ve yine ben bilinci ve hatırlama belleği incelemesi için giyilebilir kamera ve nörogörüntüleme yöntemi olarak fNIRS kullanıldı. Çalışmanın sonunda otizmli olguların ben bilinci farklı özellikler gösterdiği için, zihinselleştirme becerilerinin anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği (p<0.05), ben bilinci ve otobiyografik bellek bağlantısının insan gelişiminde birbirini besleyen yapılar olması dolayısı ile otizm grubu otobiyografik bellek özelliklerinin de kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği (p<0.05) ve bunun nörobiyolojik alt yapısında sosyal beyin ağı içerisinde yer alan prefrontal bölge, sağ ve sol temporal bölgeye ait alanlarda bulunan anlamlı aktivasyon değişikliklerinin (p<0.05) rol aldığı bulundu. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to investigate the autobiographical memory and the self-awareness and the connection between individuals with and without autism, and to evaluate the activation of neurobiological structures that play a role in decreased self-awareness and autobiographical memory, and to investigate the effect on activations related to self-awareness and autobiographical memory (ABM). The study included 4 individuals with a diagnosis of autism between the ages of 15 and 25, and 8 university students in the same age range as the kontrol group. We used Autobiographical Memory Task, advanced Theory of Mind task for the examination of memory and self, and an automatic camera, LiveCam, to investigate recognition memory for real-life events at a 36 hour retention interval. We combined the use of LiveCam with fNIRS to identify the neural substrates associated with self and autobiographical memory. At the end of the study, since the self of the individuals with autism showed differed characteristics, it was found that the mentalization skills differed significantly (p<0.05), and the ABM characteristics of the autism group differed significantly (p<0.05) compared to the control group because the self and ABM connection were the structures that fed each other. Additionally significant activation changes (p<0.05) in the prefrontal region, right and left temporal regions in the social brain network, were found to be involved in its neurobiological infrastructure. | |
