Özet

Dear EditorCutaneous pseudolymphoma (CPL) refers to a group of benignskin diseases that are clinically and histopathologically similar to cuta-neous lymphoma. Distinguishing cutaneous pseudolymphoma andlymphoma is extremely important for prognosis and treatment. CPLusually appears as a solitary skin-colored or erythematous livid solitarynodule or plaque on the face.1-3The most important clinical differencebetween CPL and cutaneous lymphoma is that the former usually pro-gresses with fewer and smaller nodules and plaques (up to 4 cm)whereas the latter progresses with more frequent and larger nodules.4Cutaneous B-cell pseudolymphoma is an inflammatory responseformed by lymphocytes to a known or unknown antigenic stimulus.Known antigenic stimuli include insect bites, tattoo inks, vaccines, needle trauma, infectious agents (most often Borrelia burgdorferi), andvarious drugs.
