dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada, tipik gelişim gösteren çocukların konuşma seslerini edinimi ve fonolojik işlemleri incelenmektedir. Katılımcılar ana dili Türkçe olan 2;0-8;0 yaş aralığındaki 120 çocuktan oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Sesletim Sesbilgisi Testi'nin (SST) alt testlerinden Sesletim Alt Testi (SET) ve İşitsel Ayırtetme Alt Testi (İAT) kullanılmıştır. SET verilerinin ses kayıtları PhonBank veri tabanının Phon yazılımına aktarılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin istatiksel analizleri için IBM SPPS Statistics v25 programı kullanılmıştır. İstatistik analizde Spearman Korelasyon Analizi, Mann-Whitney U Testi, Kruskal-Wallis Testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, yaş ile doğru ünsüz üretim yüzdesi (Percent of Phonemes Correct – PPC) değerleri ve fonolojik işlemler arasında pozitif yönlü ve yüksek anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Cinsiyetin PPC değerleri üzerindeki etkisi istatiksel olarak sınırda bir anlamlılık bulunurken fonolojik işlemler üzerinde bir etkisi olmadığı bulunmuştur. Anne eğitim düzeyinin ise PPC değerleri ve fonolojik işlemler üzerinde bir etkisi olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. En erken edinilen seslerin /p, b, d, m, n/ olduğu en geç edinilen seslerin ise /r, z, ?/ olduğu görülmüştür. En sık karşılaşılan ve en geç sonlanan fonolojik işlemler ise önleştirme, ötümsüzleştirme, ötümlüleştirme ve kayıcılaşma işlemleridir.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the acquisition of speech sounds and the development of phonological processes in typical children were investigated. Turkish speaking 120 monolingual children between the ages of 2;0-8;0 participated in the study. Two subtests of Articulation and Phonology Test (SST) — Assessment of Articulation Test (SET) and Assessment of Auditory Discrimination Test (IAT) —were used as data collection tools. Audio recordings of SET were transferred to Phon software and transcribed phonetically. The data was transcribed and uploaded to the PhonBank. For statistical analysis IBM SPPS Statistics v25 program was used. Spearman Correlation Analysis, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test were used to see the affect of gender, age and mother's educational level on the Percent of Phonemes Correct (PPC) values and phonological processes. As a result of the analysis, a positive and highly significant relationship was found between age and PPC values and phonological processes. Gender had borderline effect on PPC, however it had no effect on phonological processes. The mother's educational level on the other hand had no effect on either PPC values or phonological processes. The earliest acquired sounds were /p, b, d, m, n/ while the latest were /r, z, ?/. The most frequently observed and the latest terminated phonological processes were fronting, devoicing, voicing and gliding.
