They shoulder three distinct roles, encompassing their responsibilities in the workplace, their duties within the family, and their role in religious customs and traditions. In this research relations between work-family conflict, ostracism, emotional exhaustion, and work attitude were investigated quantitatively. The discussion leads to the conclusion that the dual role challenge, examined in this study through the work-family conflict experienced by Balinese women juggling three distinct roles, significantly influences the level of stress they experience. Consequently, it can be asserted that the outcomes of work-family conflict, ostracism, and emotional exhaustion are likely to result in a negative work attitude.Öğe Exploring the factors leading to the failure of millennial entrepreneurs: Challenges in green business(2024) Basmantra, Ida Nyoman; Apsari, Ida Ayu Karina Widya; Gama, Adie Wahyudi Oktavia; Baykal, Elif; Gorda, A.A.A. Ngurah Sri RahayuIn the 21st century, the global economy has experienced a surprising shift, marked by an increasing focus on sustainability. Millennial entrepreneurs have acknowledged the necessity of addressing social and environmental issues and have responded to this changing landscape by embracing green business initiatives. Nevertheless, these entrepreneurs confront substantial challenges stemming from external risks associated with green enterprises. To investigate these challenges, this research employed a qualitative approach, involving semi-structured interviews that combined both organized and unstructured elements to comprehensively explore the subject. The study identifies eight pivotal factors that hinder the success of green businesses led by millennial entrepreneurs. These factors encompass the absence of clear industry policies for green enterprises, a deficiency in technical knowledge related to green practices, a short-term investment mindset resulting in limited financial support, negative evaluations from experts and within the realm of social media, a lack of external pressures promoting sustainability, unfavorable shifts in the external business environment, constraints in aligning business capabilities with sustainability objectives, and flawed business models. Furthermore, researchers have recognized that the inherent characteristics of millennial entrepreneurs also contribute to shaping these factors. The findings highlight the critical influence of these eight factors on the challenges encountered by green businesses, shedding light on how millennial attributes affect the ultimate success or failure of such ventures.Öğe The affirmation of financial literacy as the moderating influence on financial inclusion and smes growth: Culinary sector in sanur(2024) Basmantra, Ida Nyoman; Junianti, Putu; Bhatti, Omar KhalidSanur tourism area as an international tourism area in Denpasar City, Bali, suffered a reduction of tourist arrivals due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many SMEs located in this area were affected by this pandemic, one of them being the culinary business. These businesses were facing revenue decline and some even bankruptcy. However, we now live in the post pandemic era, where SMEs are re-establishing and aiming for regrowth. This study finds that access to finance as a part of financial inclusion may impact SMEs growth by allowing businesses to reach accessibility of financial services from financial institutions to provide financial support and achieve sustainability. Hence, this study aimed to analyze the impact of financial inclusion through access to finance towards SMEs growth in the culinary sector and how financial literacy moderates the relationship between financial inclusion and SMEs growth using a quantitative method.Öğe Investigation of product experience and brand trust on customer loyalty based in Bali, Indonesia (the case study of frozen food brands in pandemic covid-19)(2024) Basmantra, Ida Nyoman; Putri, Ni Luh Putu Melyana; Baykal, Elif; Widhiasthini, Ni Wayan; Saputra, Upayana Wiguna Eka; Yulianti, Ni Made Dhian RaniDespite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the food and beverages industry have the potential for positive growth. However, it faces intense competition due to similar target markets and brand marketing strategies aimed at providing the best consumer experience. Therefore, this study seeks to examine the relationship between Product Experience and Brand Trust in influencing Customer Loyalty, both individually and collectively. The research employs a quantitative approach and gathers data from 142 individuals who have consumed frozen food products in Bali. Online questionnaires were used for data collection, employing a purposive sampling method, and the analysis was conducted using SPSS. The findings reveal that Product Experience has no significant impact on Customer Loyalty, with a value of 0.215 and a t-count of 1.942 (less than the t-table value of 1.97705). On the other hand, Brand Trust partially affects Customer Loyalty, with a value of 0.568 and a t-count of 7.702 (greater than the t-table value of 1.97705). However, when Product Experience and Brand Trust are considered together, they collectively have a positive and significant impact on Customer Loyalty, with a significance value (F) of 0.000 (less than the significance level of 0.05).These results can be valuable for companies and frozen food business owners looking to enhance their competitive edge and maintain customer loyalty.Öğe Identifying the factors affecting individual resistance against organizational change(Ali Khorsandi Taskoh, 2023) Küçükatalay, Tuğba; Vardarlıer, Pelin; Özsürünç, Recep; Vayvay, ÖzalpThis study aims to determine the factors affecting individual resistance. Literature review shows that job insecurity, emotional distress, and identity division are potential variables that will affect individual resistance. As a result of the factor and reliability analysis, the emotional distress scale consisted of 3 sub-factors: excitement, anxiety, and enthusiasm. Individual resistance, job insecurity, and identity fragmentation scales emerged as the only factors. As a result of simple and multiple regression analyses, it is seen that all independent variables significantly affect individual resistance. Job Insecurity has a significant and positive effect on individual resistance. It is seen that anxiety has a significant and negative effect on individual resistance, and enthusiasm has a significant and positive effect. The identity division has a significant and positive effect on individual resistance. Anxiety and enthusiasm variables, which are the sub-dimensions of emotional distress, are the variables that most affect individual resistance. In order to encounter less resistance and problems in the change process, employees need to be trained and prepared for a change in advance. Organizational change can only be achieved with the participation and support of employees. The study concludes with recommendations for managers at the strategy, operations, and human resources management levels.Öğe Perceived organizational support, servant leadership and psychological capacity relationship(Future Academy, 2019) Baykal, Elif; Zehir, CemalServant leadership is one of the most prominent contemporary leadership styles famous for improving ethical culture in modern companies. Its contributions in promoting more morality-centered work atmospheres and more collaborative and harmonious organizations make many researchers focus their lenses on the subject. It is a special form of leadership that includes a specific focus on followers as well as all the other related stakeholders. It has a tendency to focus on others' needs, with the goal of helping them grow and develop. In this study it is proposed that servant leadership style will be effective on psychological capacities of individuals and perceived organizational support will have a mediating effect in this relationship. To test propositions of this study, a field survey using questionnaires was conducted on 176 companies and we applied 815 usable surveys. The data obtained from the field study has been analysed by SPSS statistical packaged software. After analysing validities and reliabilities of the measures, a series of regression analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses. Results of the study confirmed the propositions regarding the relationships among the servant leadership, psychological capital and perceived organizational support Findings of the study are consistent with the propositions that perceived organizational support acts as a mediator in the relationship between servant leadership and psychological capital.Öğe E-service quality and e-recovery service quality: Effects on value perceptions and loyalty intentions(Elsevier Science, 2016) Zehir, Cemal; Nacikara, ElifWith the raise of internet retailing, service quality of e-retailers has been recognized as an important factor in determining success levels of e-commerce ventures. New shopping habits resulted in a growing number of studies about customer satisfaction, trust, acceptance, service quality, customer perceptions and customer loyalty. Our paper examines the above-mentioned topic in Turkish e-business context. We applied our survey to 645 customers using the most popular 10 online retailers in Turkey, with the aim of understanding relationships between E-Service Quality, Perceived Value, Recovery Service Experiences and Loyalty intentions. We wanted to see the effects of recovery services during nonroutine encounters of customers with the sites as well as e- service quality’s effects on routine encounters. In this study we are specifically focusing on authentic leadership style, which is the most famous leadership style among positive organizational scholarship researchers, its effects on resilience of employees and individual productivity.Öğe Effect of gratitude in the relationship between servant leadership and organizational identification(Future Academy Ltd, 2017) Baykal Narcıkara, Elif; Zehir, CemalPositive psychology and its organizational reflection on organizational behaviour, namely positive organizational behaviour, underlines the importance of positive forms of leadership in forming positive organizational climates. Servant leadership is one of the most important positive forms of leadership that effects positive feelings like gratitude and results in organizational identification. Moreover, gratitude can effect as a mediator in the relationship between servant leadership and organizational identification. To test the propositions, a field survey using questionnaires was conducted on 173 companies. In this study 503 usable surveys were applied. The obtained data from the questionnaires were analysed through the SPSS statistical packaged software. After the validation of measures, a series of regression analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses and to define the direction of relations. Analyses results highlighted the relationship among the servant leadership, gratitude and organizational identification. Findings have found to be consistent with the proposition that gratitude acts as a mediator in the relationship between servant leadership and organizational identification.Öğe Evaluation of brand equity using balanced scorecard: Evidence from privatized Turkish firms(Future Academy Ltd, 2017) Dinçer, Hasan; Bozaykut Bük, TubaRecent studies generally approach brand equity from a consumer oriented paradigm. Based on previous researches, the aim of this paper is to evaluate brand equity by a multidimensional perspective based on balanced scorecard approach. Besides consumer based aspect; financial, organizational, competition dimensions of brand equity are evaluated within a sample of privatized firms listed in Borsa Istanbul. For measuring brand equity, the study offers an original methodology of a hybrid multi-criteria decision making model designed for fuzzy environment. Thereby, the brand equity performances of the selected privatized firms are analyzed by using Fuzzy DEMATEL and Fuzzy VIKOR methods. The results of the analyses present that consumer based dimension is the most influential determinant of brand equity performance. Likewise, financial based dimension is found out to have effects on other brand equity dimensions. Finally, the study findings prove that firms privatized with a high-public-offering-share have the best brand equity performance compared to others.
