    Determining effective human resources strategies for renewable energy companies

    The increasing population of the world, the policies carried out on energy resources, the risk of depletion of fossil energy resources and the damage to the ecological system have accelerated the search for new energy resources. These searches have led energy companies to turn to renewable energy sources. Renewable energy companies will lead to the rapid proliferation of renewable energy systems necessary for sustainable energy, the development of new technologies as well as economic growth, and the creation of new jobs with a future. With the new jobs to be created, renewable energy companies also need to reconsider their human resources strategies. In the first part of the study, the importance of energy is mentioned. Afterwards, human resources functions are detailed. In the third part, information about energy companies and the advantages of renewable energy are shared. It has been revealed how important the human resources strategies to be determined by considering this information. In the fourth and last part, the summary of the study is shared.

    Finans kurumlarının etkinliklerinin artırılmasına yönelik bulanık mantık temelli strateji önerileri

    Bu çalışmada finans kurumlarının etkinliklerinin arttırılmasına yönelik olarak insan kaynakları departmanlarının performansına etki eden önemli faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede, bulanık DEMATEL yöntemi dikkate alınarak bir inceleme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dengeli skorkart yaklaşımı, Thor Modeli, Fitzgerald modeli ve kapsamlı literatür taraması sonuçları dikkate alınarak performansa etki edebilecek yeni bir kriter seti önerilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, yeni teknolojiye yatırım yapılması en fazla önem ağırlığına sahip olan kriter olarak belirlenmiştir. Benzer şekilde, yeni teknolojiye yönelik eğitimlerin verilmesi ve kullanılan ekipman ve altyapı yeterliliği de yüksek önem ağırlığına sahip diğer faktörlerdir. Bu çerçevede, finans kurumlarının etkinliklerini arttırabilmeleri için yeni teknolojiye odaklanmaları gerekmektedir. Kullanılacak yeni programlar ile personele yönelik veriler daha kapsamlı bir şekilde analiz edilebilecektir. Ayrıca, finans kurumlarında çalışan personelin bu yeni teknolojiye hakim olması gerekmektedir. Bu çerçevede, finans kurumları personel istihdam ederken bu hususa çok dikkat etmelidirler. Dolayısıyla, özellikle analitik yönü güçlü olan personelin tercih edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, üniversitelerin mühendislik ve matematik bölümlerinden mezun olan adaylar dikkate alınması bu sürece katkı sağlayacaktır. Daha başarılı insan kaynakları ile finans kurumlarının etkinliklerinin arttırılabilmesi de mümkün olabilecektir.

    Positive and negative effects of digitalization on human resource management

    The human resource department is vital to the long-term success of an organization. It is responsible for very important issues such as employing suitable personnel for their positions within the company, providing these personnel with the necessary training and performance management. In cases where the human resource department does not work effectively, many different departments within the company will be affected by this negativity. This mentioned issue will cause the financial performance of the company to be adversely affected. To increase their performance, the human resource management department should also follow up-to-date practices. Digitization is also a prominent issue in this process. Thanks to the developing technology, the realization of all transactions in the computer environment has also affected human resource activities. In other words, human resource departments can also perform many activities in digital environment. Critical issues such as interviews with the personnel, training, and evaluation of the performance of the personnel can be carried out in the digital environment. This will contribute to the increase in the performance of human resource departments. On the other hand, to manage this process effectively, up-to-date technology investment should be made for the human resource departments, and qualified personnel should be employed in this department. Otherwise, companies that adhere to traditional human resource practices will not be able to compete with others in the long run.

    The importance of green HR activities to manage carbon emission problem

    Carbon emissions seriously harm the environment. Countries have started to take different actions to solve this problem. Green HRM is one of the measures to be taken to solve this problem. For environmentally friendly energy consumption, the quality of the personnel working in the enterprises is also important. The solution of the carbon emission problem will be easier if the environmental awareness of the employees is high. In this context, businesses should pay attention to these issues in the recruitment process. In other words, candidates with a high level of this awareness should be preferred. On the other hand, necessary training on environmental issues should be given to the personnel currently working in the enterprises. In this way, it will be much easier to save energy. This will contribute to environmentally friendly energy consumption.

    The role of employee quality on the financial performance of the banks

    Financial institutions play a very important role for the national economy. These institutions bring together those who have surplus funds in the country and those who need funds. In this way, those who have surplus funds get interest income. In addition to the aforementioned issues, individuals and companies in need of funds can easily meet these needs through financial institutions. As can be seen, financial institutions both increase the speed of trade in the country and contribute to the increase of investments. This is an important factor in the economic growth of countries. As a result, financial institutions are vital to ensuring the sustainable growth of countries. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of employee quality on financial performance of companies. In this context, the literature is examined in detail. As a result of the examinations obtained, it was determined how the employees can affect the performance of banks. On the other hand, how banks can improve their financial performance is stated.
