dc.description.abstractOral health is an integral part of overall health, and its deterioration negatively affects the general health and the quality of human life. Therefore, the relationship between pregnancy and oral health has been frequently investigated, and possible mechanisms are discussed. The purpose of this chapter is to briefly discuss this relationship and shed light on the importance of preserving oral health during pregnancy.
