The energy sector is among the vital sectors in the economies of the country. The share of this sector in employment is also important. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of energy investments on employment in the OECD region, which has an important place in the world economy. In the study, in which VAR analysis was used as a method, the period 1990–2019 was analyzed annually. According to the analysis results, no concrete impact of energy investments on employment could be determined. Considering that the energy sector has an important share in the world economy, it is thought that energy investments should be planned in a way that increases employment.
