Öğe A review on TOPSIS method and its extensions for different applications with recent development(Springer, 2023) Pandey, Vinay; Komal, Hasan; Dinçer, HasanThe main objective of the study is to review different types of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems that are analysed by using the fuzzy TOPSIS method and its different variants. An effort has been made to review different studies in which either the TOPSIS method is used or its extensions have been developed to analyse any real-life MCDM problem. A total of 184 research papers were carefully selected and reviewed from 83 reputed journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor and Francis, and others from 1981 to the first quarter of 2023. These papers are selected on the basis of different kinds of applications in the fields of mathematics, engineering, science, environment, technology, management, business, etc. The selected papers are further categorised based on the application areas, publication year, contributions of the countries, authors, journals, and type of research. This study will give an idea of different types of TOPSIS methods, their extensions, and applications, along with recent trends in diverse research fields. Based on the findings, it is observed that in recent years, the number of papers in which TOPSIS and its extensions have been used has increased exponentially.Öğe Editorial: Fuzzy decisions and machine learning methods in climate change(Frontiers Media SA, 2023) Yüksel, Serhat; Dinçer, Hasan; Mikhaylov, AlexeyDifferent factors can affect Fuzzy decisions and machine learning methods in climate change. Energy efficiency ensures that energy resources are used more effectively, which means energy savings. Less energy consumption reduces energy costs and ensures that energy sources can be used for a longer period. System quality is very important for ensuring Fuzzy decisions and machine learning methods in climate change. Accurate and reliable data is needed for Fuzzy decisions and machine learning methods in climate change. Energy consumption, energy costs and other performance indicators must be accurately measured and recorded. Quality systems reliably perform data collection, automation, and measurement, ensuring the precision and accuracy of data. To ensure Fuzzy Decisions and Machine Learning Methods in Climate Change, effective legal regulations should also be provided. Energy performance regulations help set energy efficiency standards and targets. These standards and targets encourage government and organizations to achieve a certain level of energy efficiency.Öğe Analysis of solar module alternatives for efficiency-based energy investments with hybrid 2-tuple IVIF modeling(Elsevier Ltd, 2023) Dinçer, Hasan; Yüksel, Serhat; Aksoy, Tamer; Hacıoğlu, Ümit; Mikhaylov, Alexey; Pinter, GaborThe purpose of this study is to examine optimal solar module investments. Firstly, key determinants of the performance of solar energy investments are evaluated by DEMATEL method with the 2-tuple IVIF sets. Moreover, the cell material alternatives for solar module investments are also ranked. For this purpose, an evaluation has been made by 2-tuple IVIF TOPSIS. The contributions of the paper are performing a priority analysis to understand the most significant factors to increase solar energy projects and creating an original model by the integration of DEMATEL and TOPSIS with the 2-tuple IVIF sets. The findings denote that crystalline silicon is the optimal solar panel module to increase the performance of these projects. In the short term, government subsidies can provide cost advantages to solar energy investors. It is not a very continuous practice to try to increase these projects only with government supports. The costs of solar energy projects should be reduced to solve this problem permanently. Owing to new technological developments, high cost problem of solar energy investments can be handled more successfully.Öğe Osmanlı basınına göre Osmanlı Devleti’nin iktisadi sorunları ve çözüm önerileri (1831-1876 Dönemi)(Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi, 2019) Demir, KenanOsmanlı Devleti’nde basın 1831 senesinde devlet tarafından yayımlanan Takvim-i Vekayi gazetesiyledoğmuştur. Bu çalışmada Osmanlı Devleti’nde 1831senesinde ilk gazetenin yayımlanmasından 1876 senesinde Meşrutiyet’in ilan edilmesine kadarki süreçteyayımlanan önemli gazetelerdeki iktisadi yazılar tespit edilmiş ve bu yazılar ışığında dönemin iktisadisorunları ve tartışmaları verilmiştir.Öğe Selection of renewable energy alternatives for green blockchain investments: A hybrid IT2-based fuzzy modelling(Springer, 2021) Liu, Juan; Lv, Jun; Dinçer, Hasan; Yüksel, Serhat; Karakuş, HüsneIn this study, it is aimed to determine the most suitable renewable energy alternatives that can be used in blockchain investments. In this context, firstly, a wide literature review is made and 6 different criteria that could have an impact on this decision are determined. The analysis process of the consists of two different stages. Firstly, the significance levels of these criteria are calculated with the help of interval type-2 (IT2F) decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL)-analytical hierarchy process (ANP) (DANP) method. According to the analysis results obtained, it has been determined that continuity in energy supply and legal conditions are the most important criteria. Hence, it is recommended that while choosing among renewable energy alternatives, it is necessary to pay attention to the legal regulations in the country. Another important point is that attention should be paid to this issue in renewable energy sources to be selected in order to have sustainable benefit from energy in blockchain technologies. On the other hand, in the second phase of the analysis process of the study, 5 different renewable energy alternatives are listed according to their suitability in blockchain technology. In this process, the IT2 fuzzy VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) approach has been taken into consideration. As a result, it is concluded that wind and solar energy are the most suitable energy alternatives for this technology. Considering the results obtained, it is understood that countries that use blockchain technology should pay particular attention to wind and solar investments. In this regard, companies that use wind and solar energy with individuals or institutions using blockchain technology should be in cooperation. Thanks to these renewable energy alternatives, excess energy consumption resulting from the use of blockchain technology can be achieved with environmentally friendly energy sources. In other words, it will be possible to minimize the carbon emission problem that occurs with the use of this technology.Öğe Preface(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2021) Yüksel, Serhat; Dinçer, Hasan[Abstract Not Available]Öğe Öğe Risk management, strategic thinking and leadership in the financial services industry a proactive approach to strategic thinking preface(Springer International Publishing AG, 2017) Dinçer, Hasan; Hacıoğlu, Ümit[Abstract Not Available]Öğe
