Tıbbi görüntüleme teknikleri ve ameliyathane hizmetleri ön lisans öğrencilerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Araştırmamız, tıbbi görüntüleme teknikleri ve ameliyathane hizmetleri ön lisans öğrencilerinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2-15 Mart 2021 tarihleri arasında İstanbul'da bir vakıf üniversitesinin Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu ve Meslek Yüksekokulu'ndaki 581 öğrencinin katılımıyla yapılmıştır. Gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra hazırlanan anket formu ve veriler Google form ortamına aktarılmıştır. Anketler öğrenciler tarafından çevrimiçi olarak doldurulmuş ve sonuçları istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Ankete katılan öğrencilerin %83,1'i kız olup, yaşları 17 ile 35 arasındadır. Yaşı 20'nin üzerinde olan öğrencilerin oranı %29,1 olup, %56,8'i Ameliyathane Hizmetleri programı öğrencisidir. Öğrencilerin %30,5'i iş tecrübesine sahip olup, bu öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%65,9) işyerlerinde İSG eğitimi almıştır. İSG dersini alan öğrencilerin %47,2'si bu dersi 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında almıştır. Ankete katılan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%55,1) birinci sınıf öğrencisidir. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğunu (%62,5) örgün eğitim öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili bilgi düzeyleri; öğrencilerin yaş grupları, öğrenim gördüğü programa, öğrenim gördüğü sınıfa, iş tecrübesine ve aldıkları İSG dersine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu. Bu çalışma ile birlikte iş sağlığı ve güvenliği açısından güvenli ve sağlıklı çalışma ortamı oluşturulması adına hem okullarda hem de sağlık kurumlarında düzenlemelerin yapılması, üniversitelerde iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine yönelik eğitimlerin gereksinimler doğrultusunda planlanması önerilebilir.

Our research was carried out to determine awareness levels of students in associate degree programs of Medical Imaging and Operating Room Services about occupational health and safety. Our study was carried out on 2-15 March 2021 with the participation of 581 students in Vocational School and Health Vocational School a foundation university in Istanbul. After obtaining the necessary permissions, the prepared questionnaire and data were transferred to the Google form environment. The online questionnaires were filled in by the students and the results were evaluated statistically. 83.1% of the students participated in the survey were women and their ages ranged from 17 to 35. The rate of students over the age of 20 was 29.1%. 56.8% of the students consisted of the Operating Room Services program. 30.5% of the students had work experience. The vast majority (65.9%) of students with work experience received OHS training at their workplaces. 47.2% of the students who took the OHS course took it in the 2020-2021 academic year. Majority of the students (55.1%) were freshmen. In addition, the majority of the students (62.5%) were studying in formal education.Awareness levels of students about occupational health and safety; It was found to be statistically significant according to the age groups of the students, the program they were studying, the year they were studying, their work experience and the OHS course they took. In order to create a safe and healthy working environment in terms of occupational health and safety, it can be recommended to make arrangements both in schools and health institutions, and to plan trainings on occupational health and safety in universities in line with the requirements.
