Which ultrasound or MRI characteristics demonstrate the highest diagnostic accuracy in identifying malignancy in males with indeterminate lesions of the testis? A systematic review. European Urology içinde (S434-S434. ss.).Özet
Introduction & Objectives: The use of Scrotal Ultrasound (SUS) has resulted in increased detection of indeterminate testicular lesions, resulting in a clinical and management challenge. The gold standard of treatment has been radical orchidectomy. However, contemporary data suggests >30% of radical orchidectomies for suspected cancer have benign histology. The aim of this systematic review was to determine the diagnostic test accuracy of SUS or scrotal MRI in differentiating malignant and benign disease in men presenting with an indeterminate lesion
