Çocuk kliniğinde çalışan hemşirelerin duygusal emek davranışları ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, çocuk kliniğinde çalışan hemşirelerin duygusal emek davranışları ve tükenmişlik düzeylerini saptamak amacı ile vaka-kontrol türünde gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın evreni; Afyon ilinde yer alan iki kamu hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerden meydana geldi. Bu hastanede çocuk kliniklerinde çalışan tüm hemşireler (n=98) vaka grubunu; diğer kliniklerde çalışan 157 hemşire ise kontrol grubunu oluşturdu. Araştırma verileri Kişisel Veri Formu, Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği (MTÖ) ve Duygusal Emek Ölçeği (DEÖ) kullanılarak toplandı. Veriler SPSS (StatistikalPackagefortheSocialSciences) 20,0 paket programı ile analiz edildi. Ayrıca çalışmanın yürütülebilmesi için etik kurul izni, kurum izinleri, ölçekleri kullanabilmek için izinler ve hemşirelerden yazılı ve sözlü bilgilendirilmiş olur alındı. Çocuk ve diğer kliniklerde çalışan hemşireler yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, mesleki öğrenim durumu, mesleki deneyim süresi gibi bireysel ve mesleki özellikler yönünden benzerdi (p>0.05). Çocuk kliniğinde çalışan hemşirelerin DEÖ (potansiyel puan dağılımı: 1-6 arasında) puan ortamalarının toplamda 3.73 (SS=0.84), Yüzeyel Davranış alt boyutunda 3.50 (SS=1.00), Derin Davranış alt boyutunda 3.94 (SS=0.94), Duyguların Doğal Yolla İfadesi alt boyutunda 3.64 (SS=0.88) olduğu; MTÖ (potansiyel puan dağılımı: 1-5) puan ortamalarının toplamda 3.43 (SS=0.48), Duygusal Tükenmişlik alt boyutunda 3.60 (SS=0.76), Duyarsızlaşma alt boyutunda 2.34 (SS=0.94), Kişisel Başarıda Düşme alt boyutunda 3.90 (SS=0.53) olduğu görüldü. Diğer kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerin DEÖ puan ortamalarının toplamda 3.65 (SS=0.76), Yüzeyel Davranış alt boyutunda 3.40 (SS=0.97), Derin Davranış alt boyutunda 3.90 (SS=0.87), Duyguların Doğal Yolla İfadesi alt boyutunda 3.53 (SS=0.94) olduğu; MTÖ puan ortamalarının toplamda 3.29 (SS=0.52), Duygusal Tükenmişlik alt boyutunda 3.30 (SS=0.80), Duyarsızlaşma alt boyutunda 2.24 (SS=0.85), Kişisel Başarıda Düşme alt boyutunda 3.95 (SS=0.82) olduğu görüldü. Çocuk kiniğinde çalışan hemşirelerin sadece Duygusal Tükenmişlik puan ortalamalarının diğer kliniklerde çalışan hemşirelerden istatistiksel anlamlılıkla yüksek olduğu saptandı (p>0.01). Sonuç olarak çocuk kliniğinde çalışmak hemşirelerde duygusal tükenmişliğe neden olmaktadır ve bu soruna yönelik çözüm stratejilerinin geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir.

This study was carried out in case-control type to determine emotional labor behaviors and burnout levels of nurses working in pediatric clinic. The universe of the research; It was composed of nurses working in two public hospitals in Afyon. All nurses working in pediatric clinics in this hospital consisted of 98 nurses; 157 nurses working in other clinics were the control group. Data were collected by using Personal Data Form, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and Emotional Labor Scale (BDI). Nurses working in pediatric and other clinics were similar in terms of individual and occupational characteristics such as age, sex, marital status, occupational education status, and duration of professional experience (p> 0..05). The distribution of the PES potential of the nurses working in the pediatric clinic was between 1-6 and 3.73 (SD = 0.84), 3.50 (SD = 1.00) of the superficial behavior subscale, 3.94 (SD = 0.94) of the deeper behavior subscale, 3.94 (SD = 0.94) The mean score of the Expression of Sub-dimension was 3.64 (SD = 0.88); Potential distribution of MBI was between 1-5 and 3.43 (SD = 0.48), 3.60 (SS = 0.76), 3. Desensitization subscale, 2.34 (SD = 0.94), Falling in Personal Success subscale scores 3.90 (SD = 0.53). 3.65 (SD = 0.76) and 3.40 (SD = 0.97) mean score of superficial behavior subscale of the nursing staff working in other clinics. The mean score of the Deep Endurance subscale was 3.90 (SD = 0.87) and the average score of the Expression of Emotions was 3.53 (SD = 0.94); 3.29 (SD = 0.52) of the BMI score environment, 3.30 (SD = 0.80) of the average score of the Emotional Burnout, 2.24 (SD = 0.85) of the average of Desensitization sub-dimension, 3.95 (SD = 0.S2) of the mean score of the Descent to Personal Success subscale. was seen. It was found that only the scores of the sensory burnout scores of the nurses working in pediatric clinics were significantly higher than the nurses working in other clinics (p> 0.01). As a result, working in the pediatric clinic causes sensory burnout in nurses and solution strategies for this problem need to be developed.
