Objective: This study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of long-term QA, increasing by nutrition education given by a dietitian, on the clinic (anthropometric measurements and clinical findings) in patients with laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (LAGB) followed by a multidisciplinary team. Material and Methods: In this prospective-cohort clinical study, 93 patients after LAGB were followed by bariatric surgery (BS) team for 3 years. Preoperative; general health, comorbidities and nutritional status were evaluated. Demographic information, biochemical parameters and anthropometric measurements were recorded in the patient follow-up form. Preoperative and postoperative diet therapy was given by the dietitian. They were asked to comply with the postoperative follow-up schedules. With a valid and reliable QA form, general satisfaction for the foods consumed, daily main-intermediate meals, food tolerance, vomiting and regurgitation evaluated. The highest score, 27, indicated that QA was the best. Antropometric measurements, biochemical parameters and QA were evaluated.
