dc.description.abstract | Introduction: Alzheimer's disease dementia (ADD), Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD), and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) are the most common types of dementia. In the last years, one of the essential questions is what are electrophysiological differences among these different types of dementia patients? EEG Event-related oscillations (EROs) are one core methodologies that could show the possible differences among dementia groups. It is known that ADD, PDD, and DLB patients have abnormal alpha and beta EROs (Güntekin et al., 2022). The present study aimed to investigate alpha and beta EROs during the cognitive processes in ADD, PDD, and DLB patients to show to which extent these three types of dementia are differentiated in the alpha and beta frequency bands. | en_US |
