Nöral korteksler üzerindeki Transkranial Direkt Akım Uygulaması (tDCS), görsel-uzamsal dikkat ve psödoneglect üzerinde modüle edici etkiler uygulamaktadır. Nörogörüntüleme çalışmaları, tDCS'in davranış üzerindeki etkilerinin altında yatan fizyolojik mekanizmaları anlamamızı sağlamıştır. Transcranial Direct Current Stimulator (tDCS) on the neural cortices exert modulating effects on visuospatial attention and pseudoneglect. Neuroimaging studies have allowed us to understand the physiological mechanisms underlying the effects of tDCS on behavior. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of tDCS applied to the left posterior parietal cortex (PPC) on visuospatial attention and visual bisection task in young adults with EEG oscillations. 32 healthy individuals between the ages of 18-40 were included in the study. Participants were randomly divided into two groups as tDCS (n:15) and Sham (n:17). A single session of tDCS was applied to the left PPC for 20 minutes. Visual-spatial attention of the participants was evaluated with the Cancellation Tests, visual bisection task ability with the Line Bisection Task, and brain oscillations with electroencephalogram (EEG) before and after the application. It was observed that the participants made a leftward division error in the task of bisection the horizontal line in half. It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference according to hand preference, hemispatial body area, frequency of driving on the line bisection task, but there was no statistically significant difference according to age and gender. It was found that there were significant differences within and between groups in some sub-parameters of the Cansellation Test (p<0.05). In the line bisection task, there was a significant difference within the group, but no significant difference was found between the groups. It was observed that there was a statistically significant difference within and between groups in delta, theta, alpha and beta bands in EEG (p<0.05). As a result, it was observed withg EES oscillations that anodal tDCS stimulation applied on the left PPC increased visual scanning and response speed skills from visuospatial attention skills.
